Chart
Plots body quantities live while the simulation runs: position, speed, energy.
How to add
In the left Instruments and experiments panel choose Chart. If you select a physics body first, three curves are added automatically.
Properties
- Series
- Each series is a body plus a quantity. The list button adds a body, the × icon removes a series.
- Quantity
- height y, coordinate x, speed v, speeds along x and y, kinetic, potential and total energy, angular speed.
- Window, s
- How many seconds the chart shows (2 to 120).
Tips
- For oscillations the chart shows the period T.
- To compare two runs, put series from different bodies on one chart.
