Rectangle
The basic shape: a block, platform, wall or button. With physics enabled it becomes a rigid body.
How to add
Use the Rectangle tool (key R) and drag on the canvas. Hold Shift for a square.
Properties
- Size and position
- X, Y, width, height and rotation, relative to the parent frame.
- Radius
- Corner rounding. The button next to it switches to a separate radius per corner.
- Fill
- Colour, gradient (linear, radial, angular) or image. Several fill layers are possible.
- Stroke
- Outline colour and width.
- Effects
- Shadow and blur.
- Constraints
- How the object follows its parent when it is resized: left, right, centre, stretch.
- Physics
- The Physics tab: body type, mass, friction, bounce.
Tips
- Right-click: "Extrude to 3D…" turns the shape into a 3D body and "Export as image…" saves it as PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG.
- Boolean operations (union, subtract, intersect, exclude) are in the context menu and on Ctrl+Alt+U, S, I, X.
