Bulb
A load that glows brighter the closer its voltage is to the rated one.
How to add
In the left Instruments and experiments panel, Electric circuits section: click the element and it appears in the centre of the frame. Connect its terminals to the rest of the circuit with wires.
Properties
- Value, Ω
- Bulb resistance in ohms.
- Rated voltage, V
- The voltage at which the bulb shines at full power.
- Angle
- Rotate by 90 degrees.
Tips
- Two identical bulbs in series share the voltage; in parallel each gets all of it.
- Put a voltmeter in parallel with the bulb and an ammeter in series to check Ohm's law.
