Voltmeter
Shows the voltage between two points. Connected in parallel, with very high resistance.
How to add
In the left Instruments and experiments panel, Electric circuits section: click the element and it appears in the centre of the frame. Connect its terminals to the two points whose voltage you want to measure.
Properties
- Reading
- The voltage in volts appears on the instrument while the circuit runs.
- Angle
- Rotate by 90 degrees.
Tips
- Connected in series, a voltmeter practically breaks the circuit because of its huge resistance.
- The reading is an absolute value.
