Switch
Opens and closes the circuit.
How to add
In the left Instruments and experiments panel, Electric circuits section: click the element and it appears in the centre of the frame. Place the switch in a gap of a wire.
Properties
- Closed
- Whether the switch is on in the editor. While the circuit runs you can toggle it by clicking.
- Angle
- Rotate by 90 degrees.
Tips
- In a running circuit click the switch to turn the current on or off.
- A switch in a parallel branch turns off only that branch, in series the whole circuit.
