3D slider
Sliding along one axis: a piston, lift, a box on a rail.
How to add
In 3D mode open the Mechanisms menu and choose a ready unit, or connect two bodies with a joint from the Parts menu. A ready unit: Piston.
Properties
- Bodies A and B
- The moving body and the support.
- Axis
- The sliding direction.
- Limits
- Minimum and maximum displacement in metres.
- Motor
- Speed in m/s or target position in metres, force and damper.
- Keys
- Extend and retract the rod.
Tips
- For the Piston, extending is on the P key.
- Limits keep the rod from leaving the rail.
